Elizabeth Beier - Elizabeth is a New Mexico-based contemporary landscape painter who's fascinated by how Earth, Water, Air, and Fire come together in
the Southwest. āI work primarily in acrylics on canvas, using smooth, undulating brushstrokes. My art is part of a nature-celebrating spiritual practice. I'm drawn to themes like the seasons, the four elements, cycles of life and death, different times of day, and the sun and moon. Nothing is static in the world, and I hope that the fluidity of my painting style and light abstraction in my landscapes imbues them with a sense of beautiful impermanence."
"In 2024, I won the Surface: Emerging Artists of New Mexico award from Harwood Art Center. I've been a frequent guest artist at Art Mozaik Fine Art on Canyon Road, Santa Fe. I am a member of Moon Shadows, a contemporary gallery in Old Town, Albuquerque. Iām also part of Las Damas, a new group for women artists across the state.
